Thunder In Paradise
Terry "Hulk" Hogan stars as R. J. "Hurricane" Spencer who is an ex-Navy S. E. A. L. and confirmed bachelor struggling to make ends meet. In order to save his superboat THUNDER (and ultimately, his business) Spencer is forced into a marriage of convenience with the snobby Megan Whitaker. When Megan gets kidnapped it's up to Spencer and his partner Bru to save the day or risk losing everything.
Does this count as a movie? During the heyday of WCW Hogan has free reign with Ted Turner's money. Makes any show he wants, buries Roddy Piper and the Ultimate Warrior, turns heel and founds the NWO. Yet never seems to go for hair plug surgery, I suppose when you have 44" pythons and (if you recently watched his sex video) a less than 44" undercover python, well maybe more of a garter snake.. anyway where was I? Oh yes, Knight Rider meets Airwolf meets Baywatch meets Bosom Buddies meets Brutus Beefcake as the Bootieman. You've pretty much got the gist of this show. This is the pilot t.v. movie. Explosions, babes, and most likely south Florida being passed off as exotic tropical locales. Just remember to put sunblock on YOUR python before watching this one.
Laughable attempt at an action film.
