While not as intricate or detailed as Primer, this is every bit as good, if not better, than Looper without relying on anything like that film's flash.

A better than average time travel film where one man struggles to right his own wrongs after inadvertently getting caught in a time loop.

The film plays out the sequences in a pretty effective and compelling manner, tying in all the strands of previous timelines. However I think the film falls down a bit by not completely explaining how these timelines were originally created and the ending is kind of open and abrupt too.

Despite the ominous poster shown, the…

This is if someone made took an episode of rod serlings the twilight zone and made it into a feature. Its science fiction like it once was, were the only special FX is a cut scene. It relays more on great writing and great acting.
A movie heavily inspire by the works of phillip K dick, were a man learn the person he has confront is himself. It shows they can still make a great low budget movie. It keeps you guessing the direction were this movie its heading
its the best slasher/timetravel since Time After Time.

Film #13 of my June 100

Bandage face scared the crap out of me during the films first act and the walkie-talkie chase sequence was really effectively suspenseful and terrifying. I found it a bit of a shame that he lost impact during the rest of the story.

This is a time travel film that is consistently trying to be innovative and interesting and it is all the better for it.

    Mission Improbable: The June Challenge

Back to the Future for adults.

Timecrimes is a conflicting flick for me. Parts of it are amazing, parts of it are dull and parts of it don't make sense. It manages to escape many of the holes other time travel movies fall in, but still stumbles towards the finishline.

First of all, the presentation is pretty damn impeccable. The film looks and feels great. The time travel device feels like something out of LOST,…

@Camdun_Roar: An interesting foray into the time travel genre but it's hard to empathize with people who act so irrationally 5/10

One of the most original films on time travel, made more so by the fact that there were almost no special affects.

A tight knit story with set pieces that at times may be confusing, come together brilliantly and leave a lot for the audience to decide upon.

Though I could not figure out why the character had to tie up cloth in the creepy way that he does, none the less it has and creates a creepy and sinister tone for the duration of the film.
