this movie isn’t so much a good movie as it is
“literally me.” unfortunately i also have an artistically inclined single mother (albeit less successful) with whom i have a complex relationship, briefly lived in bushwick, majored in film studies, and my name starts with an A so naturally i have to stan -
The aimless wandering about a big city, whilst graduated and unemployed, really hit home this time. So naturally, I liked this a lot less.

Similar to Kevin Smith, although not as funny--still, Tiny Furniture is a remarkably assured debut and I can see why it led to bigger things.

I was hooked the whole time! I wasn't a fan of Sharp Stick but this debut was captivating!
