After watching it again, I've realized this is probably my favorite TMNT film. Like the other TMNT movies, it certainly has its flaws, but this one feels the most like a true TMNT movie. The animation, while it could use a little work, is pretty good. The use of shadows and lighting is terrific, and the action scenes are extremely well choreographed and a lot of fun. In fact, making a TMNT movie in animated form is a great choice since it allows the filmmakers to make the turtles and the action scenes as free and over-the-top as they should be, in keeping with the cartoon/comic book tone. I was more forgiving when I saw it in 2007, seeing it again now made me a little less pleased with it.

I didn't know what to expect from this film...but I admit it wasn't much...however I ended up quite liking this turtle instalment.
Really liked what they did with the story, the turtles being leaderless and Raphael going vigilante, it gave just enough depth for this animation to draw me in and have a good time.
Its great to see the TMNT's reinventing themselves for the new and old generation of fans.
It will be interesting to see if a Mikey Bay production can keep the gig going, when the new TMNT film is released...I'm feeling it might be one to forget, going on the his past efforts on transformers and pirates....but who knows!

Totes great, I was just unfortunately exhausted and fell asleep near the end.

Relive my child hood through these CGI turtles. Wish they would of been in rubber suits but movie was a lot better that in thought it would be but still pretty kiddy.

This was a pretty good movie. It remained true to Eastman and Laird's characters and told a pretty good story. I especially enjoyed Leonardo and Raphael's redemption/reconciliation story; it was good enough that it very nearly overshadowed the main story.
