    right after this i watched "encounters at the end of the world." great contrast between the philosophy of the huber brothers, who are driven to do absurd things, and herzog's questioning of why humans feel a compulsion to be first, best, against all reason.

    Good mountainclimbing film about the Huber brothers who set themselves the target of speedclimbing the "Nose" in the Yosemites. Beautifully shot and an interesting character study.
