Toy Story 3 came out on my eighteenth birthday. Like Andy, I had grown up and was heading off to college. So, upon seeing it, I took it like a man... and cried throughout the entire movie. It was the most emotional I have ever been. Not only is Toy Story 3 one of the best animated movies ever made. It actually changed my life.

TEARS OF MANLINESS

The 100% perfect ending to the only 100% perfect trilogy ever created. The LOTR comes pretty close, though.
P.S. Pixar, I swear to fucking god, if you make a Toy Story 4 I will shit on everything you love, be it in this life or the next.

Andy: "Now Woody, he's been my pal for as long as I can remember. He's brave, like a cowboy should be. And kind, and smart. But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you, ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what."
I absolutely ADORE Toy Story 3, and it is my favorite pixar film of all time. Everything about this movie works, starting off with the great animation. The animation here is so fun to look at and seems so real. The screenplay here is excellent, just so excellent. It really knows how switch the mood perfectly, from being really funny and sometimes hysterical, to very sad and dark. The characters here is…

Wow, what a film.
Call me soppy, but how good was this really? Has it just caught me having 'a moment'? Or is it really the masterpiece that it has just seemed?.
This has more heart, drama and action than most Hollywood blockbusters in the last 10 years. This is as fine a threequel that there has ever been. EVER.
Bring on the motherfuckin' reboot...

You haven't lived until you've non consensually stuffed a talking floppy cowboy toy in your anus.
He can yell pretty loud for a little guy, but don't worry. He doesn't yell for long.

Wow, it's hard to believe how good it is. A perfect trilogy, and this one is probably my favorite of the three, the jail break theme works perfectly, the characters are charming and engaging, great humor and even the action scenes are excellent. Pixar is amazing...

Yes, I still cry every time I watch this!

Not quite as good as the first two but as a whole the trilogy is one of the best things Disney has ever done.

This review reportedly contains spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Still brings me to tears. Every time.

Not quite on the level of its predecessors, but a great film nevertheless.

Touching and very enjoyable - a good 'franchise' that goes out with a bang.

This piece is a little long. Hopefully you’ll forgive me. I had a hard time letting go.
Toy Story 3 opens with a Wild West action piece that borders on flamboyance. Boldly announcing the improved animation Pixar has developed in the 11 years since the previous installment, it nevertheless stays true to the playful and inventive introductions that have been there from the start.
In fact, this is a key competency of director Lee Unkirch’s Toy Story 3. Well aware of its roots, it not only wraps up one of the most revered animated series of all time, but does so with respect and authenticity. The resulting trilogy of films is one for the (and all) ages. Where the first…
