Van Wilder
2002 Directed by Walt Becker
Synopsis
Don't Graduate. Celebrate.
Van Wilder is an outgoing, and extremely popular student who has been at Coolidge College for seven years. There was a point in time when people paid to sit in a theater and watch Teck from MTV's The Real World. Things have gotten better but we're still working on it.

Ryan Reynolds breakthrough....Tara Reids emotionless face!
Are you drunk? You will love this then!

I admire how Ryan Reynolds acts like Ryan Reynolds no matter what genre of film he is currently working in.

Extremely uninspiring but very occasionally funny comedy that is as predictable and cliche in a way that seems almost aware of its own tripe, but not in a manner as smug or obvious as Not Another Teen Movie. Enjoyable for what pop culture history has made meta-casting, like Tara Reid as the clever, non-superficial girl Van wants to win over as well as other spots like Aaron Paul's cameo as a wasted down-and-outer (could this film be canon with Breaking Bad, like a prequel?) and an amusing cameo from the 2002-era Los Angeles Clippers.

É aquele velho besteirol colegial. Mas tem partes engraçadas.

The standard for college bro movies. Remember when Tara Reid was hot, even though she sounds like she smokes 80 packs a day?

One of my favourite teen/college movies. And yet I often tend to forget all about it. It is hilarious, Ryan Reynolds is brilliant, but I tend to forget it even exists. It is a good film to get drunk to....maybe that is why I forget it.
