One of the best films. Ever. Period.

A study in the economy of dialog, Wall-e remains a modern classic. A high point in recent animation and sci-if. One of my personal favorite films of the last decade.

Wonderful...
-
A preachier film than most in Pixar's film library, while maintaining the insight and charm that the company is best known for.
-
Pixar's best, and one of the great contemporary works of American animation.
-
I have yet to see A BUG'S LIFE, BRAVE, or CARS (1 & 2), but it's hard to imagine any of them can beat WALL-E, still the best - and my favorite - Pixar movie.
-
WALL-E had always been the one Pixar film I had never watched, and now I truly feel I've been missing out on something special. Heart-wrenching and heartwarming, depressing and uplifting, spectacular to look at and with a really solid, interesting plot all in equal measure. Possibly Pixar's most lovable little creation.

Animation, especially computer-animation, has found its success largely through making things talk that normally don't - animals, toys, cars, etc. So it's ironic to find that one of Wall-E's greatest strengths is that is practically a silent movie.
There are sound effects and (very) limited dialogue, of course, but this very well could have been a silent movie, and you wouldn't have missed a thing. Wall-E is like a Charlie Chaplin movie brought into the 21st... well, actually, 28th century.…

A tremendous vision of the future and solitude from Pixar.

One of the best Pixar films.

WALLLLL-EEEEEE

In every sense, this the children's version of 2001: A Space Odyssey. It has the rebirth theme, the space theme, the evolutionary theme, the demonic technology theme - and of course alot of obvious refererences.
It's the least commercial movie by Pixar, and after watching it eight times, it might be their best.
