A moving film in places, Welcome to the Rileys has an emotional story at its core. The performances are brilliant, with Kristen Stewart giving one her strongest, and her on-screen relationship with James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo is what makes this film worthwhile. There are few great looking shots and the film has a very nice indie feel to it which make the sloppy parts of the script work well enough in context, but I felt it could have been a lot stronger in most aspects.

A pretty good flick. And Kristen Stewart can act!

Script's a bit meandering at times, and unrealistic, but Gandolfini and Leo are great. Kristen Stewart's... well, Kristen Stewart.

I didn't know you could make a film entirely out of wrong notes and missed opportunities, but apparently you can. The only exception is Kristen Stewart, who could not be more firmly in her wheelhouse with this character.

Stewart was weak as usual but Gandolfini and Leo are always good.

Going into this film, I didn't really know anything about it other than it starring James Gandolfini and Kristen Stewart and that made it worth it for me. Neither one disappointed and I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. The characters' motivations were difficult to understand at times, but that wasn't due to sloppy writing, more so them being complex characters.

She's not Emily.
-Lois RileyA very well made film with great performances that gets sabotaged by a script that insists on using complex situations with ridiculously simplified results. The set up had great potential for a drama with this cast, but after it gets going the interesting characters become unrealistic caricatures of their former selves.
I thought the vile hatred I have for the Twilight film (only ever watched the first one) would prevent me from enjoying anything Kristen Stewart would ever do. Here she actually proves to be a decent actress and holds her own with the likes of James Gandolfini which is no small task. I do think it's Melissa Leo though that has the best performance here although none of the characters go in what would be their most interesting directions.
