Vermutlich bin ich einer der letzten in Deutschland, der diesen Film noch nicht gesehen hatte.
Bisher konnte ich mich erfolgreich vor der französischen Klamaukkomödie drücken aber nun... fand ich ich ihn überraschend gut unterhaltsam.
Ja, natürlich ist die Story vorhersehbar, und natürlich kommt am Ende zusammen was zusammengehört (hups Spoiler...). Aber der Weg dahin war wirklich lustig, mit einem liebevollen Humor und ganz ohne Fäkalausdrücke (Naja fast). Es dürfte eine Weile her sein das mich eine Hollywood Komödie so oft und so breit zum Schmunzeln gebracht hat.

Willkommen neues französisches Kino, setz dich doch zu uns und trinke ein Muckefuck.

Kad Merad is a post office manager in the south of France who tries to wangle a move to the Riviera, but instead winds up in “the Ch’tis”, a deceptively friendly part of the country marked by its uncomplicated lifestyle, smelly delicacies (smellicacies) and a litany of eccentric quirks of speech. It’s classic feelgood fare, with fun performances all round and some fantastic gags.

This was made even better by seeing it in a full cinema with an audience in hysterics. I suspect if I'd seen it on my own I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.

Danny Boon , I love your films

The stupid fake dialect they invented for the German dubbing made me sick and the overly ridiculous gags ruined the sympathy I had for the characters.

Not exactly a very deep movie, but I pretty much never watch French movies anyways and this was quite sweet after all! I watched it dubbed in German which made it more tolerable, the French language is one of the reasons I tend to avoid French cinema..
