Not much to say about this one...its basically just a load of beautiful women sitting around in their pants.
Some loose plot connecting them all together blah blah...Adrianne Palicki being sweet, simple and talking filthy....thinks its a lot more clever than it actually is.
Josh Brolin with the least convincing english accent EVER! Honestly...makes Don Cheadles sound like Prince fucking Charles!!
Best scene is after the credits...unlike Evil Dead...

Stop me if you've heard this one before: a group of people, going about their own separate lives, get brought together by unique circumstance in an ensemble drama. OK, how about this: a group of women, going about their own separate lives, get brought together by unique circumstance in an ensemble drama. OK, how about this: it isn't directed by Pedro Almodovar. Well, not quite.
The events of the movie are triggered and eventually climax around superstar pornstar Elektra Luxx whose life takes a turn in an unexpected direction upon discovering she's pregnant. From there, the film features people who are a degree or two in separation from her, such as her co-stars Bambi and Holly Rocket; the father of…

Yes, the title makes it sound there should be saucy bits in it. Yes, I did see it to see lots of saucy bits (hey, Carla Gugigignningowhatever is in it). What did I get? Light, salt-free sauce!
But then again, this was good. This is 'Short Cuts' lite. Rather than complex interweaving plot lines, where everyone gets their own story and how it interconnects several times across the film, this is a more simple domino effect.
The plot is light, easy to watch and just a good watch on a late evening. Nothing to stress the mind. Porn star finds out she is pregnant, becomes friends with a person in a lift, whose sister is having an affair with a…

Watched this film mostly for Friday Night Lights alumni Connie Britton and Adrianne Palicki, and both are absolutely brilliant in wildly different ways. Palicki is the outright highlight of this though, with a genuinely funny performance and some brilliantly delivered lines.
It's a really strong film in it's own right - has a Crash-like story told through cross-encounters, with a real emotional heart and fantastic performances across the board.

Almodovar-esque ensemble film packed with eye candy, and a great performance from Carla Gugino.
