Some movies make you wonder and ask yourself about lots of stuff. That's one of those movies. The whole time i was asking myself questions like "Why those guys are doing that?" and "How someone can be that stupid" or even "How the hell that girl can keep her hair like that even during the apocalypse?" or just "OH GOD WHY?", and the most important of all, "Why the hell i'm watching this?".
I've never seen such a horrible movie like that before.
And GOD THAT TIGER, i rather be blind than see that tiger again. -
Over centuries of evolution mankind has evolved itself into the position of Apex predator on this planet. And the single feature that made it get this title is a weapon called "intellect". No matter what the circumstances, the surroundings or the odds are, the human intellect will always give us the chance to succeed. Now a Zombie Apocalypse might be the only situation that might endanger our position at the top of the food chain. If mankind transforms into mindless Zombies our deadliest weapon is taken away. Imagine a horde of Zombies storming a Zoo and breaking down the fences of the polar bear cage. Would the scuffling horde even stand a chance against the now superior intellect of a…

What's that?!
Okay, let's go over the horrible FX (really? no one's better than who did this "thing" with digital?! not a single wanna-be young SFX make up artist to do the job the old way ?!) and even the same old locations...But at least a decent plot, decent characters... and decent actors too!
The plot is a copycat (you can choose from nth movies) : a group of survival is trying to reach a "safe place" they heard about ... stop! this is it.
Not a single spark of intelligence or creativity throughout the whole movie and the characters are so quickly and badly defined that it's like trying to recognize someone from a 2yo kid draws.

A pretty generic zombie flick with some spectacularly bad CGI and campy performances.

March Movie Madness-March 30th-The Letter "Z"
I couldn't find many films that begin with "Z" for the contest and defaulted to "Zombie Apocalypse" in a pinch. As I expected, it was terrible. Take Dawn of the Dead (original or remake or both), Zombieland, 28 days Later, and pretty much any other Zombie film, mash them together, throw in a terrible plot, horrible dialogue, silly special effects, throw in Ving Rhames, and you have this piece of shit! Avoid at all costs!

Agora é o Eddie Steeples, o Crabman do My Name Is Earl num filme de zombies!!! O Randy também entrou no Rise of the Zombies… já chega!!!

Well that was like a perfect adaption of 'Left 4 Dead' ruined by an awful plot and poor CGI.
At least it's always fun to some zombie smashing and slashing...

Maior tigrada!

I hate CGI fire more than I hate CGI blood. You know a film has no budget when they can't even afford to set stuff on fire! Mind you it gets two stars for having Ving Rhames fight a zombie tiger with a sledgehammer
