I fully admit that I chuckled a few times during the first hour or so of ZOOKEEPER, and I do not hate Kevin James like everyone else on the internet seems to. But as this talking animal movie progressed, I grew weary, irritated and eventually disgusted by the sheer lack of funny this movie was dumping onto the screen. The moment where Kevin James and a talking gorilla (voiced by Nick Nolte) ride around in a van singing Flo Rida's "Low" is one of the most cringe-worthy things I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot.

Keep your zoo and stick it where the sun don't shine.
That'd be infinitely funnier than this piece of elephant dung.

lighthearted fun film. Has a few funny moments.

Lounging about bored nearly to tears the other week, and in said boredom decided to sit through 'Zookeeper' in it's entirety. Crying would have been much more entertaining. Nick Bakay's writing does not meet tthe standards of his voice acting. One sympathy star.

I want to start by saying Kevin James is funny, I've seen it. There's spots where he is downright enjoyable. So, while I went into a movie about a homely Zookeeper who has to fend off multiple supermodel level women's advances while simultaneously having long in-depth conversations with animals who for one reason or another talk - a bit pessimistic about it's ability to be anything resembling a movie. I kept an open mind, though. Maybe, it'll surprise me.
You know what it did. Not in a way that made me realize it was good. No, in a way where I realized there was never a genuine good story involving talking animals, and in a way where I was surprised…

If you're expecting a great movie with an original plot, then you could probably get better results by recording grass growing in a pitch black room.

My kids laughed their butts off, and despite its bad jokes and overall lack of originality, I occasionally found myself laughing with them. This movie isn't made for cinephiles. It's just a lighthearted comedy you can watch with your kids.

Cute enough. Nothing original, as you know where the film will go. Sandler as the monkey was funny.
I just gotta ask, why is Leslie Bibb always cast as the movie bitch? -
"Kevin James best movie since Paul Blart. Pretty funny movie with some heart and fine vocal performances from Adam Sandler, Cher, Sylvester Stallone, Nick Nolte, Jon Favreau, Judd Apatow and more. Also, always a plus to have the always lovely & beautiful Rosario Dawson in any movie and same with Leslie Bibb. Very funny, liked it."

K. Smith es Adam Sandler, Sandler es un mono y Nick Nolte un gorila imitando a Sandler. Sobredosis de changos.

I avoided this movie like the plague when it was released, but HERE COMES THE BOOM blew me away so much I had to give it a little bit of my time. 102 minutes later the credits began to roll and I had a smile across my face. Far from perfect, but this film is still enjoyable.

Could that giraffe have been any more annoying?

Good: Kevin James, the rest of the onscreen cast, Cher's singing during the end credits, the story of the gorilla, most of the people jokes, the frog.
Bad: the talking animals, most notably the bears, majority of the jokes between the talking animals, Sylvester Stallone's singing during the end credits.

First, I have to confess that I love Kevin James. Maybe it's because we're both built the same, or may it's because he's hilarious. I went into this movie not expecting much, but it pulled me in right away. The taking animal effects are great, and the voices really add to the feel of the movie. I haven't researched it, but I think Sylvester Stallone plays a lion, if not, it sounds just like him. Great cast, and some fun performances. As usual, Kevin James is funny, and he seems like a really nice guy.

People need to realize that just because a film is targeted for the children of family demographic doesn't mean it should be childish and doesn't mean it is okay for it to be bad. Zookeeper start off promising, has an interesting premise, but ultimately, takes the easy way out and gets bogged down with immaturity.
The story is about Griffin (James), a lovable oaf who gets turned down after proposing to his girlfriend on the beach. Kind of a sad way to open a kid's film, but honestly, it's probably one of the better scenes of the film. For one, it's one of the few times we actually feel sympathy for the character. The girl is Stephanie (Bibb) who hates…
