The Artist 2011
Rewatched Aug 12, 2012
Jacob Olsen’s review:
It's not just an homage to the golden age of cinema, it's also a very nice love story. Many scenes stand out as favorites; when Valentin's wife says «George, we need to talk!», when he discovers his belongings stored away at Peppy's, the firing of Clifton, the final dance scene...
I love this film - since I didn't see it before 2012, this goes on my Top 10 list this year.
Can I just copy and paste what you said? No movie has fascinated me as the way The Artist did. Truly amazing performance by Jean Dujardin!
It was a fresh breath of old air!
