The Pornographers 1966

Jacob Olsen’s review:
With the possible exception for Rossellini's War Trilogy, I somehow don't think there are many future favorites hidden among my unseen Criterions. There's probably a reason they have been postponed this long, sort of a hunch I guess.
Because I have reached Weird County now, and this one wasn't going to leave.
It starts out rather ordinary, or as ordinary as a film about a pornographer can be. His daily life isn't exactly uncomplicated, but it is nothing compared to what's in store when dead husbands reincarnated as carps start taking over. Incestuous relations and local Yakuza adds to the man's burdens, but after a while I rather stopped caring. It became too much in a too long film.
