Actually this list got me to finally get around to Black Narcissus. My initial, kneejerk reaction is that it is quite good, but no where close to The Red Shoes. Though it's got some powerful themes and a knockout ending, so I'm going to think about it for a few days...
And it looked absolutely amazing, as you'd expect. I am slightly disappointed I watched it on Netflix CA which has a mildly damaged print in only SD.
