"You've slain a 1,000-year-old goblin cat the size of a cow."

My brother sat down right in the middle of one of the sex scenes and said "What are you watching, enter my 36th chamber?" Despite this humorous break, and apart from the quote at the beginning of the review, there isn't much that is funny about Kuroneko. In fact, it is an extremely serious and also rather chilling ghost story that features gorgeous black & white cinematography. Aside from a few slow parts, I dug this film quite a bit. Features a fantastic final shot.
