This movie is poorly paced and uneven. There are tons of plot holes. It's like the screenwriter took strands of ideas and just jumbled them together. Yes I realize it is based on a true story but then they should just stay with one part of his life. The war comes out of nowhere and the bullies from the north were pointless. The fight scenes are cool but that's it. Also I never got the sense that IP man would lose so there was no suspense. Not worth a watch.
