Now the Original is one of my all time favorite horror movies and it still scares the crap out of me. This is a piss poor remake. I usually like remakes even to less extent then the original. I liked Halloween, Fright Night, Nightmare on Elm Street, Karate Kid, Omen, Dawn of the Dead, Hills have eyes, Friday the 13th and Amityville Horror. Heck I even like the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre MORE then the original. But this, this movie is horrible. Not even a note of the original soundtrack which is a big part of the reason the original is as darn scary as it is. The acting is bad in this, Tom Welling is ok i suppose, the story is crud, there are no good scares. The atmosphere is terrible. And the ending, the ending is crap. There's also no suspense, the original people didn't just go in the fog and die. There was the suspense of when is it going to happen and then it would. But in this people just run around in the fog and die. Not recommended.
