The shorts are classic, the first being Donald the tourist, the second being airplanes on the mountains of South America, then Goofy reminiscent of his antics on the olympics but contrasting the Gauchos talked about earlier in the feature, then introducing Joe Carioca to the Carnaval portion. It's ok, but the shorts only serve as an excuse to recap the previous portions but with animation for the young ones, so the shorts feel restricted by the previous education portions since they are recapping not really free to do their own thing

Hilarious cartoon antics, after watching this on The Three Caballeros and Saludos Amigos DVD, it reminded me how classic slapstick cartoon humor is missed, rather than having pointless melodrama in today's cartoons. Classic example of cartoonish humor, the plot is just that Donald wants to impress the girl, the rest is just hilarious slapstick between the 4 characters!

Cary Grant is hilarious and this is definitely his best performance
