Interesting, bold, fun... but just not fully there. Good heart, good attempt at a story, but weird CGI, weird creatures, wacky moments, and still felt like an old school sailing movie, where it could've almost been more sci-fi. Bad guy spider was creepy as ALL hell, but otherwise somewhat enjoyable.
