This was dumb, got really bored by the end. Oh big concept, I get it, but ugh. Would rather watch The One I Love again.

Gritty, incredibly brutal and violent, but smart and cool crime story. Unfortunately very lacking, very storyless, filled with some useless characters. Typical plot about a hit that angers the higher ups, who set off to kill those that did it. Only difference is the political angle that's hastily mixed in, which didn't mean much to me.

Fantastic film, riveting, incredibly story, just wow to watch unfold. Characters needed some work, not a flawless film, but damn good, highly suggested viewing.

Not that great, honestly. A lot of the lines, and moments, and production pieces, felt cheap. I wanted to love it, and the story is very fun and quirky, but it's nowhere near the first movie. Hardly any sci-fi comedy is. Something about this just felt off to me. Almost like no one was giving it their all, except for Rick Baker, who I feel like designed more for the movie than the costume designer. Some fun moments, some boring ones, overall just middle of the line. At least better than the second one.

I love this film, so dark and deep, with touches of sci-fi and visual brilliance. Amazing score, too. It's a great film, I don't have issues with it, one of my favorites.

I LOVE this movie, I mean seriously, I adore it, so damn good. A quote I'm stealing from someone else - Starship Troopers is the definition of awesome. This was back when the studio somehow gave violence master Paul Verhoeven $100M to make an epic sci-fi action space opera. Everything about this movie kicks ass, it defines my fascination and rise to glory with cinema like this. Seriously one of my all-time favorites. The score is amazing, the action is…

Classic. LOVE this movie. So damn good! One of Tony Scott's (RIP) bests. Everything about it is near perfect, it captures wonderfully and achieves everything it sets out to, with regard to this story about "Top Gun" fighter pilots. Entertaining beyond all, still exciting, fun, enjoyable to watch (I saw it so many times as a kid, too). Good emotion all around, just perfect. Dog fighting scenes are badass, exhilarating, and the editing is outstanding. Plus, I love the sort of unconventional twist (he doesn't get Top Gun!) in the story but that's what makes it great.

Hate to say it, but kind of boring... Didn't really enjoy it that much. A step down from Dark of the Moon, which had better action. The Dinobots aren't used enough, it's just... not that great. As I summed up on Twitter: "Yelling! Explosions! Robots + slo mo action! China! CIA! More explosions. Dinobots! And that's it." Yep.

Not bad. Fun, quirky, perfectly captures the absurdities of romance. But this movie has aged horribly. So 80's, and so cheesy in ways that don't even resonate anymore. It's enjoyable, but not my favorite by far.

Charming, funny, so very 80's, but captures that time and romance at that time perfectly.

Badass - best word to describe it. Tom Hardy is the shit, so awesome, he really kicks ass in this. Just great to see him being someone unique and yet delivering one of the best performances in the film all over again. Shot beautifully, as expected from John Hillcoat, and excellent performances all around, especially from: Shia LaBeouf, Guy Pearce, Dane DeHaan and Hardy. Worth seeing, bloody and brutal, enjoyed it quite a bit, but story overall is rather typical.
