I actually really, really loved this movie. The message within it, the story about staying true to your passion, and delivering something fun and engaging and delicious. And yet not losing your way, overcoming adversity. It's done so well, with a great soundtrack, solid performances, overall it left me in such a great mood that I can't help but keep recommending this to everyone.

Not that great, honestly. A lot of the lines, and moments, and production pieces, felt cheap. I wanted to love it, and the story is very fun and quirky, but it's nowhere near the first movie. Hardly any sci-fi comedy is. Something about this just felt off to me. Almost like no one was giving it their all, except for Rick Baker, who I feel like designed more for the movie than the costume designer. Some fun moments, some boring ones, overall just middle of the line. At least better than the second one.

Solid, enjoyed it. Neeson being badass as always.

I love this film, so dark and deep, with touches of sci-fi and visual brilliance. Amazing score, too. It's a great film, I don't have issues with it, one of my favorites.

Badass - best word to describe it. Tom Hardy is the shit, so awesome, he really kicks ass in this. Just great to see him being someone unique and yet delivering one of the best performances in the film all over again. Shot beautifully, as expected from John Hillcoat, and excellent performances all around, especially from: Shia LaBeouf, Guy Pearce, Dane DeHaan and Hardy. Worth seeing, bloody and brutal, enjoyed it quite a bit, but story overall is rather typical.

Fantastic film, riveting, incredibly story, just wow to watch unfold. Characters needed some work, not a flawless film, but damn good, highly suggested viewing.

I LOVE this doc. Such a fun, funny, amusing, entertaining, intriguing, engaging experience, and told in such a unique way - with clips of footage and nothing more (no talking heads). Seeing this for my second time, it's an excellent look at not only the brilliance of Stanley Kubrick as a filmmaker, but the culture/fascination that arises in investigating the depths of a film after it's released. Love it.

  • The Bourne Legacy 2012

    ★★★ Watched 10 Aug, 2012

Not bad, just okay, not great, but not really too terrible either. Just kind of alright. I still prefer the original Bourne movies to this one, it's just not the same without Matt Damon. There's some great action, but for the most part this is just boring. You're waiting to get from one complicated plot point to the next, for Edward Norton to get angry at more people, and for Renner to just pop up out of nowhere. I like Tony Gilroy, but this wasn't his best. Jeremy Renner is okay, but not even close to Matt Damon.

Didn't care for it at all. Seemed like there was no care for the direction, the story, the performances, all around just a forgettable, bland film. The effects were okay, Chris Hemsworth was the highlight, and the fighting was cool, but overall totally bored by it.

  • Dark Shadows 2012

Boring... to sum it up in a word. About halfway through I just lost interest. It's got all the quintessential quirks of a Tim Burton film, the colors, the cool cinematography, the comedy, but not the classic feeling and exciting story to keep me interested. It was kind of like - Tim Burton's Twilight. Meh. What's next?

Hate to say it, but kind of boring... Didn't really enjoy it that much. A step down from Dark of the Moon, which had better action. The Dinobots aren't used enough, it's just... not that great. As I summed up on Twitter: "Yelling! Explosions! Robots + slo mo action! China! CIA! More explosions. Dinobots! And that's it." Yep.

Second go 'round with this movie - and I liked it even better! It's just a fun, epic space adventure built entirely around another world and martian races and everything. There are a few amazing scenes in it, thanks to director Andrew Stanton. Honestly, I really enjoyed this movie more the second time. Woola is the BEST!
