Silly, derivative space fun. Guy Pierce plays the action hero better than I expected and Joe Gilgun is clearly having a blast playing a demented space-scotsman. If you wondered what Escape From New York would look like on a space station, this is the film for you.
I thought this was abysmal, even going in with rock bottom expectations expecting an 80s style action flick.
Still, those bike effects and the parachute jump will live long in the memory.
Haha yeah, the zero gravity spacesuit dive to Earth was totally ridiculous but so was the whole film. On another day I probably would have hated it too but I just wanted something I could turn my brain off and still enjoy and it fit the bill nicely.
