An excellent film that reminded me at times of 'Deliverance' which is one of my favourite films of all time. The characters and their interactions in 'The Grey' were perhaps a little more clichéd than in Deliverance though. It made up for that fact with some truly breathtaking moments of suspense and survivalist horror. The opening of the film was especially poetic and one of the best starts to a film I've seen in a while. Liam Neeson was excellent and the atmosphere of menace in the film was well handled. Definitely one of my favourite films of 2012 so far.
