Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb 1964 ★★★½

It was decent, had a lot of funny parts, great facial expressions, superb lines and was all pulled together very well to create a nice jab at the cold war. But there were also scenes that were so serious that you suddenly await the punchline, and you keep waiting, and waiting, and then it cuts to a comedic scene, which wound up making the humour feel slightly more jarring. I liked the film but I don't think I'll wind up holding it up in high regard as many others.

  • This is one of my least favorite Kubrick films. I still think it's great, though. Just not among his best work. Maybe I just need to see it again.
