The Godfather 1972

Liam Fogarty’s review:
Probably one of the most important films out there and one that really shows how we've elevated to a level of contemporary filmmaking in today's standards. It really begs the question when we see films like Battleship, What To Expect When You're Expecting and That's My Boy, where did we all go wrong?
That is for another time however, The Godfather is a great portrayal of the psychological impact of being involved in the mob, the sense of honour within the business, the constant danger and the lack of living a normal life because of a pursuit of power, wealth and control. Do we seek this power or is it just human nature to find and gather as much power as possible, or is it the power that comes and finds us. What does power make people do, how would someone act with such power and how does this impact others. It's a film that asks a lot of questions and shows us through these character the morality of a lifestyle.
It's The Godfather, what more has to be said!
This such an awesome film.
Yeah pretty mediocre.
Ooh Contraversial!
Ha, yeah, it's actually quite good I just like to balance things about a bit. Brando is corny as fuck though in this, Don Juan was his best performance! Haha! :D
