Only Pixar could take a film with a troubled production and make it this good in the end. There is not as much emotion or danger as your typical Pixar affair, but it's a damn good film nonetheless.
Glad you liked it. I found the ultimately simple story really worked in Pixar's favor here. If they had gone out to make the really epic film this was advertised as, it would have failed at keeping the human element, which is what made the film work for me.
Also, the biggest problem the film has for me was that the entire third act felt very rushed, but I thought the catharsis worked regardless of that fact.

I forgot to ask: What did you think of the Pixar short, La Luna?
It was amazing.
