Pretty awesome.

Man... the acting was great. Guy Pierce was spot on... which is usual for him. Ben Kingsley was great! RDJ was just what you'd expect.

I liked that they used Tony's asshole past to affect his future. He's still a bit of an asshole, but more like the asshole version of an M&M: Asshole on the outside... soft and actually weak on the inside.

I was wondering if they where making Tony too powerful, but they seemed to have handled that.

Fun film!!

Pretty great movie. I watched the special edition, so I'm guessing that made an already long film longer. You didn't feel the length until the end... then you really felt it!

But... the good. The cast and acting are great, both in the larger and smaller characters.

What I really liked was that 90% of the drama and tension did NOT involve the aliens, but the situations and the threat of one crazy-ass Navy Seal.

The ending noticed this…

Very good doc. I'm not a big F1 fan and didn't really know this story before watching the film. I picked this based on other reviews I had seen.
It does make Prost look pretty bad, but I saw it a little different in that Prost was highly competitive, just like Senna. I thought the F1 officials were more to blame. Sport governing bodies, especially older ones, seem to lapse into politics.

The only real fault with the film is that I did find some of the voice-over and sub-titles a little hard to follow at times.

This is a film that I discovered here at letterboxd. I really wasn't sure what to make of it at first. I can't say it was uproariously funny… I think I only laughed out loud 3 times, but as it went on it grew on me. A had a slight smile on my face through most of the film and it was actually kinda emotional at the end, not only for the ending of a friendship, but an ending of an era.

*Smiles* Good Film!
