The third Rec film not only abandons the visual style of the first two but also any tension or excitement.
The setting is a wedding with the newlyweds soon fighting their possessed guests. For some reason the possessed now shamble about like Romero zombies which to my memory contradicts the first two films.
There are a few good scenes but this film fails to match its predecessors. Not RECommended and it has possibly wRECked the franchise.

Everyone knows the plot so I won't recount it. Basically I am a seasoned horror film watcher and this thing still made me jump at least three times. The ending detracts from what has gone before but all in all it is enjoyable stuff and does what it says on the tin. I was expecting to be disappointed, but happily, was not.

Emmerich does it again.......big money, shit plot. If you are going to trap a huge dinosaur thing then why not set the big fish trap outside of the city so you have a clear shot at it? Painful.
