List by Sam Farley
ABC's of Film
Letter by letter, these are the 26 films (27 with a numbered selection) that will represent the alphabet in film. What's the point to all this? There isn't any. But now you've got another list to view.
These are selections only from films I've seen. Just an FYI.
Yep, this is awesome. I'm making one tonight!
It was fun to put together. I might aim for some specialized ABC lists too.
Haven't seen Away We Go, but I really like Sam Mendes. Is it any good?
I love it. Funny, but wonderfully written. If you like Mendes I think you're pretty safe, but it isn't terribly like his other films, a bit quirkier and different than one might be used to.
All right, might give it a go soon then. Like the idea of this list too. Makes it possible to highlight a few films you might not otherwise get the chance to highlight.
Yeah, it's fun. The sheer number of combinations you can make with different themes is fun too. Trying to make a go at this list making thing, and it is fun to show off films that might not make it to top 10 lists or specialized lists.
My point exactly. Moon is awesome!
Yup, spot on. And Moon was incredible. That's my kind of sci-fi, the one that says a lot but doesn't necessarily show it. Source Code was good, but Moon was head and shoulders above it.
Agreed, but I did really, really like Source Code too. Made my top 10 of 2011 actually.
Ya it is really good but I think I like Moon better. Source Code grows on you though. Duncan Jones is a talented guy.
Definitely like Moon better, it's a goddamn masterpiece. I've only seen Source Code once, but it sounds right, what you said, I think I'd like it more with a rewatch.
I need to rewatch it too. He's going to be a force to be reckoned with.
For sure. Can't wait for his next.
Just did mine!

I'll check it out. Nice.
whats up with Buried at B? Back to the Future alone has gotta be better....?
Not necessarily the best movie for that letter. Some are favorites, some fun, just playing with the format.
