Philip Gretton’s review published on Letterboxd :
What would you do if you knew the world was going to end in three months time?
That's the question facing Steve Carell in Lorene Scafaria's telling of ones man's journey to the apocalypse.
Despite the dark nature of the set up this is a story about finding love even when the end is nigh! No one does lovable loser like Carell and throw in Keria Knightley's scatty English bohemian and you have a nice pairing of conflicting life views. The chemistry between the two is good if not sparkling and the first two thirds of the film is darkly comic. That said the final third is pretty standard life affirming stuff. Soppy as it is it still managed to to twang a few of my heart strings.
Overall a decent film, good acting and a great premise.
