Make it stop!! MAKE IT STOP!! Why do these movies exist? Why are there three movies about singing fucking chipmunks?

I had to babysit a 7-year old this morning, out of all the things that were available to watch on Sky Movies and all of the movies I have on DVD, she chose this to watch. I still haven't forgiven her.

If I ever have kids, these movies are being banned from my house.

You think I would have learnt my lesson never to see another movie that's been adapted from a Stephanie Meyer novel after hating every Twilight movie but I haven't sigh...
I never read the book (tried and failed 3 times) and I have to say I'm glad I didn't waste my time after watching this!
Weak acting, terrible script and don't get me started on how much I hated the voice-over! I'm still wondering why I even went and watched this (and I'm also mad I wasted £7.75 on it!!!!)

The movie has a great concept and I really enjoyed the first hour or so, however it is ruined by too many unnecessary action sequences, plot holes and the extremely predictable ending.
Also I thought Scarlett Johansson was pretty terrible in this, not really her fault since she didn't have much to do apart from be the love interest.
