This movie is dumb. I'm not wasting any 50c words on it.

So why do I feel bad for switching it off before it finished? Could it possibly have redeemed itself in the last half hour?

Gah! How can a movie be so self conscious and earnest, but so insincere and trivial? Yuck. I feel dirty.

    I only lasted about 20 minutes. And that was on a plane, where my quality threshold is extremely low.

    To be very fair to this movie, and probably more fair than it deserves, I watched this on TV, with ads. I haven't watched a movie with ads for ages, and it started to enrage me. I have ad anger issues.

    Banal interruptions by the pilot and noise-enhancing airmuffs make for a similarly frustrating viewing experience. Perhaps this is a gem of a film, and we were watching it in the wrong context?

    Nope. That's way too fair.
