The Dark Knight Rises 2012

Grant Berridge’s review:
This film has some of the laziest and most awkard exposition scenes I've seen outside of 80s porn. After the first half hour, I realised I could ease my pain by substituting the word "Macguffin" wherever appropriate. Try it, it's fun.
There's too much wrong with The Dark Knight Rises to even begin, so I'm going to spin this review to list the positives:
1) Catwoman was not just an out-and-out villain. There's complexity in her characterisation, if not too much depth. Some good wise-cracking and Anne Hathaway looks good in vinyl. No whip though. Shame.
2) ...I can't think of anything else that was positive.
I expect more from Nolan.
Harsher than my review...but I can't exactly argue with yours. :/

Yes, you've made some good points there.
Bane's voice was distracting and hard to understand, as were the characters' motivations and the crazy special circumstances of the individual Macguffins. Perhaps these were all intentional metaphors for Batman's lack of moral cohesion? Nearly every part of the film is incoherent in some way - is this story really about the tattered and nebulous morality of vigilanteism?
Im so glad im not the only one.
