I might be in the minority, but I think you should definitely check out Best of the Best 2. Haven't seen the first film, but I loved the second and I think it's awesome. Really cheesy fun with some cool fight scenes.
@silentjoe you should def try watch best of the best. Great 80's film.
Since I loved the second, I'll definitely be watching the first. I just haven't gotten around to it. Still, I hope you enjoy the sequel as much as I did.
There are a couple of great films in this list, but there's probably a good reason why you haven't watched these. Frankly some of them you should out right avoid.
Also can't believe you A. own Battle Royale and haven't watched, and B. no one else has recommended it.

Its gotta be the thing. That is one the all time best Sci fi films out there. Its a proper classic.
