Johnny Depp isn't bad, I guess, but I couldn't help thinking how I'd rather watch Jack Nicholson ham it up in The Departed instead. The Bostononian aspects weren't bad, I guess, but the scene wasn't set with loving care like The Town was. The plot wasn't bad, I guess, but, well, you get the idea.
This movie feels like Thanksgiving leftovers about a week after the fact. At that point you're throwing the potatoes, stuffing and turkey into a stew…
