If Argento, Lynch, and Kubrick had a baby it would be called "Beyond the Black Rainbow". Imagine the last 15 minutes of 2001 stretched out to a 2 hour film and you pretty much get the vibe of this. It's also got a very John Carpenterish score that rocks. I don't know what kind of Kool-Aid Panos Cosmatos is drinking but if he's gonna make films like this let's hope he keeps it up.
How did you see this? I'd love to find a copy, the trailer is awesome!
A buddy found a torrent on Isohunt. It's fucking so awesome man. I usually always wait for Theater or Dvd but seeing as there's no release date yet I had to check this out and I'm glad I did. I can't wait to get this on Blu-Ray when it comes out.
I looked for this the other day but didn't find it. Will be checking it out tonight. Thanks for the tip.
@filmape. definately want to hear your thoughts. It's slow but super trippy.
This. Looks. Great.
my pal & his gal demanded i watched this, glad i just did, tho my tv way too small for it & not enough volume either, definitely need to see it again in a cinema
@ashton. Definitely would be better in a theater. I hope this gets a great blu-ray release also.
@grooveman. i'm going to need a bigger/better t.v for that, i best start saving. & when i have a double bill w/ Amer maybe
