The real star of this film is Emmanuel Lubezki. Some of the best cinematography I've ever seen.
The sets, from the buildings down to the newspaper articles are amazing in this movie.
True. Amazing film. Feel like rewatching it now, just thinking about it. Michael Caine is so good in it.
It is the best science fiction film of the last ten years. Whilst the cinematography and the two famous one-shot sequences get most of the attention if think Cuarón should be commended for getting a good performance out of Clive Owen, very few directors have ever managed this.
This truly is an amazing film.
@Adam, I think Owen is a solid actor. Might be wrong but do you have an example on hand perhaps?
Pretty much every film he has ever starred in with the exception of this, Closer and most recently, Trust. Obviously people think he is decent otherwise he wouldn't keep getting cast but I've always found him terribly wooden and unconvincing.
@ Adam, I thought he was decent in Inside Man
Fair enough, man :)
@Waldo, agree on Inside Man, that film is awesome.
