One of the greatest love stories of all time. I've seen this three times and it keeps getting better. Charlie Kaufman is the man!
This used to be my least-favorite Kaufman-scripted film (not counting Human Nature, which I haven't seen), but I actually believe it holds up best among them all. Synecdoche, NY was pretty lame, and my fondness of Adaptation. is fading. Need to re-watch Being John Malkovich, but I wasn't super-thrilled by it to begin with. It started out great, but lost its way, I felt.
I'm going to re-watch this again soon. I like it more and more with every viewing. It went from something I found to be incredibly over-rated to something I now realize is worth all the praise it gets.
I do think this is Charlie Kaufman's best but I need to rewatch Adaptation also. I did really like Being John Malkovich too.
