Usually when I rewatch films that I initially love I find on repeat viewings I love the film even more. High Tension unfortunately is not one of those films. There still is a lot to like as this is shot very well but I had issues with this films ending more this time than I have in the past. This was at least my third watch so maybe I'm just getting bored with the film but it didn't really do much for me this time out. I still recommend this if you're a fan of extreme films but compared to recent horror masterpieces or near masterpieces like Inside, Wolf Creek and even Martyrs, this film doesn't hold up nearly as well.
