Maaan, I need to get around to this one.
Yes you do! I only rated it 3 1/2 stars, but that's just because it's so damn believable and depressing it's hard to watch. Fassbender and Mulligan are phenomenal!
an amazing piece of cinema, Steve McQueen is such an amazing director, the way he let's his scene breath with outstanding cinematography, McQueen for me is 2 for 2 because Hunger is as good or maybe better than Shame.. can't wait for his 3rd film filming now with Fassbender..
Yeah Aaron for a Fassbender fan you have to see this.
I'm aSHAMEd.
I think this is Fassbender's best performance and that is saying something because he is always excellent.
One of several masterpieces released in 2011. What a great year for movies.
Such a great year. Any year with a Malick release is alright with me.
I think we should consider ourselves lucky they didn't try and convert this to 3D..... opening scene alone would scar you for life.
On a more serious note, this was an astonishingly good film. It's the downward spiral way it develops. Fantastic watch.
That's funny shit Chris. I wonder if art films will ever go there."Now playing Hunger 2 in 3D, directed by Michael Bay. Even more skinny this time and instead of 16 minute single shots we get 3 second shots" Haha! Stupid Hollywood!!
