Wasn't this and its sequel made for TV?
Almost bought the trilogy last month. Glad I didn't.
I think it was made for tv and it sure seems like it. Noomi Rapace is alright but I prefer Mara actually. I'll watch the third but I'm not to excited.
I believe all the Swedish versions were Made for TV. The third is worst of the bunch sadly, although I still prefer the first to the Fincher remake.
The first film was made for theatres while the second two were made for tv and screened in cinemas when the first film became a huge succes. Like you said, grooveman, you sure can tell that it's made for tv.
