  • Right you are, my friend, right you are!

  • @Dirk. I really wish they made more big budget films like this. Funny thing is though, everyone I've talk too about this film, that isn't a movie buff, hated it. I thought it was super refreshing to see a film of this quality. I'm sure this will easily make my top ten list of this year.

  • I went a bit overboard perhaps when I first saw it ( see my review) But it immediately earned a spot in my top 10 action films ever.

  • *SPOILER*

The scene just after the crash when Neeson eases the guy into death is simply amazing. Really, the whole movie is amazing. Very glad (and relieved) you liked it.

  • I maybe didn't enjoy it quite as much as Dirk did, but like you I was very surprised by this one. That scene in the airplane where he's talking to the guy who's dying really wasn't something I thought I would find in what was billed as a rather stupid B-movie action film.

  • Loved this film, definitely my favorite film of the year so far. The ending is perfect. Glad you liked it.

  • @Filmape. We finally agree on something again.

  • @Aaron. This might be my favorite of the year also. I'll have to give Beyond the Black Rainbow a rewatch. It's between these to films for the top spot but they couldn't be more different. I'm waiting for BTBR to come out on blu-ray before I rewatch it though. There are still so many more films coming out this year so it will be interesting to see if they get knocked off. Moonrise Kingdom looks especially good and I'm sure The Master and Django Unchained will be high up there also. The Grey was easily the biggest suprise for me so far as I thought it would just be passible entertainment.

  • Prometheus is second for me so far. Haven't seen Beyond the Black Rainbow yet, intrigued for sure. This year as a whole looks amazing. Apart from the ones you mentioned I can't wait for Dark Knight Rises and Looper. And a whole lot of others that I can't remember. Lawless with Tom Hardy looks badass as fuck.

  • @ Aaron. This should be a great year for film for sure.

  • These films can't come soon enough. The Grey is the ONLY film of 2012 I can say I love so far, and 2012 is getting many accolades as a banner year... yet to see it.

  • I have to agree with you guys. My list of anticipated films just keeps growing. 57 so far, and that's without the 22 I've already seen. The big blockbusters that haven't been mentioned that I'm looking forward to are Skyfall and The Hobbit.

  • @Amberfool. I forgot about those two. Skyfall in particular I'm pretty excited for.
