Ok, but could have been better. The story was pretty disjointed. I think I would have struggled to know what was going on if I hadn't read the book.

Sounds like a bad case of laryngitis from Brian Johnson Unfortunately. Not their greatest performance I have to say.

A real hoot!

One of the best British horror movies ever in my opinion. Nice package and viewing notes with the DVD, although a film commentary from any of the surviving cast or crew (if they're still around indeed) might have added to the experience. Still a brilliant movie that is faithful to the spirit of the orginal short story "Casting the Runes" by MR James if not a totally slavish interpretation.
