Entertains and seems wholly original for the first 40 minutes or so, but I didn't buy into the whole "boy-turned-psycho"-story. The below average acting really hurt the second part of the film, and as the (probably) unnecessary found footage-style got dropped for more action filled sequences the whole film fell depressingly apart. A shame, because Chronicle had all the right ideas.
