My favourite film of 2011 ! Went in expecting an mma movie, that is not what was delivered, but I was perfectly happy with what I got.

I preordered the bluray as soon as possible, which is very rare for me these days.

Long, extremely slow, but a decent story.

My brothers review coming out of the cinema was "Its like watching someone else read a book"

Another remake that I haven't seen the original, but probably should have. I couldn't help but think of Khal Drogo all the way through though, other than that, it served its purpose and wasted a couple of hours.

Didn't really get good until an hour or so in, but then got kind of amazing ! Should have introduced the gods fighting sooner.
