John Carpenter’s review:
For those looking to dip their toes in an offbeat Spaghetti Western with a toned down Alejandro Jodorowsky kind of vibe, “Django Kill…If You Live, Shoot!” is a movie that fits the bill. Giulio Questi’s movie plays by its own set of rules and is entertaining despite feeling like it is out of left field. Blue Underground has once again delivered a great disc. After spending nine years with the DVD, fans of the movie will fall in love with this Blu-ray. The picture quality is crisp and the lossless sound takes over the front field. With Quentin Tarantino’s knack for borrowing material, I can see a few areas where “Django Kill…If You Live, Shoot!” may get some love once “Django Unchained” rolls around.
