The Campaign 2012
Reviewed Aug 07, 2012
John Carpenter’s review:
“The Campaign” pairs Zach Galifianakis’ portrayal of his character/brother Seth with a watered down version of Will Ferrell’s George Bush impersonation, has characters force random curse words together for some raunch and follows a plot fairly close to “Trading Places” to deliver a fairly star studded bore. It would be a lie to say that I didn’t chuckle a few times during the movie, but most of the humor felt forced. I like Will Ferrell. I like Zach Galifianakis. I even like Jay Roach. “The Campaign” doesn’t win my vote though.
