Some Like It Hot 1959
A perfect comedy. Billy Wilder’s script is entirely without flaw. It is brilliant, never missing a beat. Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon are the perfect comedic duo, complimenting each other’s humor and with throughout. Acting across from them, the iconic Marilyn Monroe, and in this film we see why she was the icon she continues to be. Along with her obvious beauty and charm, she plays the role of Sugar with such innocence and life; it’s easy to see why…

Brave 2012
Not Pixar's best, but certainly not its worst. A bold step on Pixar's part, stepping out of their comfort zone, making a film that departs from the normal "Pixar Universe". Also, a fantastic statement made by Pixar, on the worth of stories. In our modern society, where stories hold little value, it is wonderful to hear a film say "Legends are lessons that ring with truth". Stories are worth far greater than the worth they are currently given, and it is inspiring that the makers of Brave, are willing to make that statement.

The Social Network, Finchner’s eighth directorial effort, while defining the millennial generation, remains relatable to generations both young and old. Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg), Eduardo Saverin (Andrew Garfield), and Sean Parker (Justin Timberlake) struggle with the same pains young men and women have felt as long as mankind has pains to feel.
