Hi Everyone,

I'm back from my Letterboxd holiday. I'm not sure if I'll bother logging everything I've seen since I was last on here, partly because I don't remember all of them and also because I haven't seen that many films recently due to a newfound addiction to several amazing US TV shows. But I am going to update my '2013 Ranked' list and try and catch up on what's been going on round these parts.

This is my third watch now, and it's growing on me more and more each time around. This admittedly wipes the floor with Raimi's trilogy opener, and that's mainly down to how incredibly well cast this film is. Everybody seems to fit their characters perfectly, with Garfield the most obvious improvement. For me, his take on the web-slinger felt a lot more natural and a lot closer to the Spider-Man I remember from the comics and cartoons I enjoyed when…
